What you'll do
This is Invisible's broad Arabic voice listing, organised by dialect. You choose one of four tracks when you join: Arabic (Global), Arabic (Jordan), Arabic (Saudi Arabia) or Arabic (Egypt), each titled "Native Speaker for Voice Recording". The work itself is recording Arabic voice content, reviewing audio samples, and comparing spoken recordings against written text for accuracy, clarity, naturalness and guideline alignment.
Egyptian Arabic is the most widely understood spoken variety thanks to film and television; Saudi and Jordanian speech represent the Gulf-adjacent and Levantine families; a "Global" track presumably covers speakers outside those three or a more neutral register, though the listing does not define it. The listing asks you to understand pronunciation, accents, dialects, phrasing, tone and cultural nuance across regional varieties, which in practice means spotting when a recording slips out of the dialect it is meant to represent, or reads a dialect script with Modern Standard Arabic habits.
The listing does not say what the recordings train, how long sessions run, or how much work each track has.
Who fits
- Native-level Arabic
- Strong familiarity with Arabic as used in Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan or another Arabic-speaking region
- A clear speaking voice and a close ear for dialect, pronunciation and phrasing
- Comfort following detailed guidelines
The regions describe the variety you speak, not where you must live; the listing names no residence requirement. No degree, years of experience or AI background is required. Equipment is not mentioned, but a quiet room and a decent microphone are the realistic baseline for recording work.
What it pays
$17.00 an hour, fixed, across all four tracks. That is the same rate as Invisible's separate Gulf Arabic listing and the rest of its voice and audio family. Contract terms on the listing say payment is issued weekly via Stripe or Wise, and that Invisible cannot support H-1B or STEM OPT contractors.
Onboarding is two steps: upload your résumé (about 5 minutes), then unlock paid projects (about 30 minutes, an unpaid qualification).
Worth knowing
Good:
- Dialect-specific tracks, so Egyptian, Saudi and Jordanian speakers are each recognised for their own variety
- A Global track for speakers outside the three named countries
- Fully remote on your own schedule, with weekly Stripe or Wise payment in the terms
- Short onboarding by the listing's estimate
Less good:
- $17 an hour regardless of dialect or track
- About 30 minutes of unpaid qualification
- No minimum amount of work; projects can end early
- The Global track is not defined, and the listing gives no detail on end use or hours
- No H-1B or STEM OPT contractors
About this listing
Read on Invisible's Meridial marketplace on 26 September 2026, posted about three months before we read it. The rate, the four tracks, the onboarding steps and the payment terms are the listing's own; the notes on the dialects are ours. Gulf speakers (UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman) have their own Gulf Arabic Voice and Audio Evaluation Expert listing. See Invisible Technologies.
