Affiliate disclosure

How Labeling Jobs makes money, and what that does and does not change about what you see here. Last updated 30 September 2026.

In one paragraph

Some links on this site are referral links. If you sign up to a platform through one, that platform may pay us a referral fee. It costs you nothing, it does not reduce what you are paid, and it does not decide which platforms we list, how we rank them, or what we say about them.

How the links work

Every apply or sign-up button on this site goes through a /go/ address on this domain before it lands on the platform. That hop is how we count clicks, and the privacy page lists exactly what it records.

Where a platform runs a referral programme and we are part of it, the address you land on carries our referral code, so the platform can credit the sign-up to us. Where it does not, the button goes to the platform’s ordinary page and we earn nothing. You cannot tell the two apart from the button, which is deliberate: this disclosure covers every one of them.

Posts in our Telegram channel link to listing pages on this site, never straight to a platform, so the same buttons and the same disclosure apply there.

What we are paid for

Each platform sets its own referral terms. Some pay a one-off fee for a sign-up; others pay only once the person referred is accepted or has done some paid work. Either way, the fee is for the sign-up, not for anything we write about the platform.

What it does not change for you

  • You pay nothing, here or on the platform, because you came through us.
  • Your pay rate is the platform’s, and a referral does not lower it.
  • We have no say in whether you are accepted. The platform assesses you on its own terms.

Referral fees do not decide what you see

A platform paying us does not get listed, ranked higher, or described more kindly for it. Listings are ordered by when they were posted, or by whatever the page you are on says it orders by (such as the highest rate), never by what we are paid. Platforms that pay us nothing are listed on the same terms as platforms that do.

The same applies to guides and comparisons: a referral arrangement does not buy a platform a better write-up.

Pay figures are described, not promised

Every pay figure in a listing or a facts grid comes from the platform itself. Where the platform states one exact rate, we show it as one. Where it publishes a range or an approximation, such as “$20–$40 an hour depending on project”, we mark it with a tilde and the word “approximate”, because it is the platform’s own figure but not a single firm number. We would rather show you a hedged number than a confident wrong one.

What workers say about pay is a different thing, and it never goes into those fields. When a contractor’s account of what a platform actually pays is worth reporting, it appears in the page text, attributed to where it came from.

If something reads like an advert

If a page here looks like it is selling you something rather than describing it, that is a bug, and we would like to hear about it at contact@labelingjobs.net. The about page explains how listings get on the site in the first place, and the terms of use cover what a listing does and does not promise.
