How it works

OneForma is a real, registered operation: its site states that it is operated by Centific, the Redmond, Washington company that rebranded from Pactera EDGE in January 2023. OneForma says it processes over $3.75M a month in payouts to experts across 100+ countries.

The work falls into five project types: annotation (labelling images, tagging data, entity recognition), data collection (recording conversations or taking part in videos), judging, transcription, and translation. OneForma lists 40+ expert domains and projects in 300+ languages, which makes it one of the few places with regular work in less common languages.

Joining is described as three steps: create a profile in about five minutes, get matched to projects (typically within 24 hours, OneForma says), then accept work and set your own schedule. Each project shows its rate before you accept it. Your payout method has to show as "Connected" in your account before anything is paid.

Worth knowing

Good:

• Rates are shown before you accept a project, and the homepage states there are no fees
• Language breadth: 300+ languages, useful for bilingual contributors whose language is thin on other platforms; see which languages pay what

Less good:

• OneForma holds a TrustScore of 1.4 from 470 Trustpilot reviews, 84 percent one-star, with 171 reviews in the past year. The recurring complaints are accounts deactivated soon after ID or selfie verification with no reason given, payments delayed for weeks or months, and support tickets left unanswered. One September 2026 reviewer wrote that their account "was deactivated shortly after verification with no explanation given"
• OneForma replies to some of these reviews, saying accounts "are not suspended at random" and are "assessed individually by our Account Review team", but it does not publish what triggers a review
• Payout timing is stated two ways. The homepage says contributors are paid twice monthly; the help centre says weekly or bi-weekly depending on the project. The facts grid follows the help centre, so read the job details for the project you take
• No list of eligible countries beyond the 100+ figure
