What you'll do
AfterQuery wants working advisors to design and evaluate financial advisory scenarios that test whether an AI model can apply wealth management principles to realistic client situations. You write planning questions and case studies, then judge model answers and give detailed feedback.
Topics named in the ad include retirement planning, investment allocation, tax strategies, estate planning, risk management, client communication and regulatory compliance. Feedback is held to fiduciary standards and planning best practice. You also work with other financial and technical experts to tune how hard each question is.
Who fits
- Active securities licences (Series 7, Series 65/66 or equivalent) and proven experience as a financial advisor or wealth management professional
- A bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business or a related field
- Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills
- Preferred: several years of advisory experience across varied client segments, publications or fintech involvement, a CFP, CFA or similar designation, and familiarity with AI-driven advisory tools
The application form asks for your FINRA Series licence and CFP, both marked optional.
What it pays
The board shows $98/hour and the ad text gives no range, so this listing records $98 as a single figure. The ad does not publish payment terms; the AfterQuery company page covers the usual Stripe payouts.
Worth knowing
Good:
- Uses real licensed-advisor judgment, which is hard to fake
- Remote and asynchronous, on your own schedule
- Covers the full planning range rather than a single product niche
Less good:
- Active licences are a hard requirement, so retired or unlicensed planners are out
- The ad does not state hours, volume or pay structure
- AfterQuery's help centre describes an unpaid, one-attempt assessment and ID verification before matching
