What you'll do

You author lab scenarios from specimen receipt through result interpretation, write reference answers with the analytical reasoning behind each result call, and grade model output for analytical accuracy and patient safety. The task AfterQuery emphasises is flagging interpretations that read right but would release a bad result, which is the lab equivalent of a near miss.

Who fits

• MLS(ASCP) certification or equivalent, such as AMT MT
• 2+ years of clinical laboratory experience
• Depth in at least one department: hematology, chemistry, microbiology or blood bank
• Clear written English for documenting analytical reasoning
• Able to commit at least 10 hours a week

Preferred: specialist certification (SBB, SH, SM); reference lab, transfusion service or molecular diagnostics experience; QA, method validation or CAP inspection experience. The form optionally asks for your ASCP credential.

What it pays

The board headlines $80/hr; the ad's contract section gives $65 to $95/hr, set from your experience and paid weekly via Stripe, not negotiated down after you start.

Good:

• Remote and fully async, with no third shift
