Skills
  • clinical medicine
  • case writing
  • clinical guidelines
  • medical review
  • ai evaluation

What you'll do

You develop detailed medical case studies and clinical scenarios that push AI models toward informed, nuanced decisions. You evaluate AI-generated responses for clinical accuracy, logical consistency and adherence to current medical guidelines, and you work with a cross-functional team to tune case difficulty so the content reflects real clinical challenges and best practice.

This is the broadest of AfterQuery's medical roles: no specialty is named, so the ad suits generalists as well as specialists.

Who fits

  • An enrolled or completed MD degree from an accredited institution with current licensure in a recognized jurisdiction
  • Clinical or academic experience showing expertise in modern medical practice
  • Strong analytical, written and verbal communication, able to explain complex scenarios clearly

Preferred: several years of clinical practice or significant research in a specialty, experience building educational or clinical training content, and familiarity with AI or digital health. The form optionally asks for a medical license (MD/DO) and an NPI.

What it pays

$160/hr, as shown on the board. The ad text states no range, and mentions performance incentives without detail. It does not publish payment terms or weekly hours; see the company page.

Worth knowing

Good:

  • Remote and asynchronous, around your clinical commitments
  • Accepts enrolled MD students as well as completed degrees, per the ad

Less good:

  • Payment terms and a minimum weekly commitment are not published
  • Licensure in a recognized jurisdiction is required
  • The ad is long-running (posted April 2025), so confirm it is still being filled
  • Independent contractor: no benefits, your own taxes
