What you'll do
You turn everyday office-management judgment into test material for AI. The ad lists staff coordination, workflow optimisation, scheduling, office policies, resource allocation, communication management and vendor relations. A strong scenario involves competing priorities, where a sensible-sounding answer still misses something an experienced manager would catch.
You then validate model responses, giving detailed feedback on accuracy and adherence to office management standards, and work with administrative and technical experts to tune difficulty.
Who fits
- A high school diploma or equivalent; an associate or bachelor's degree in business administration is preferred, not required
- Proven experience as an office manager or administrative supervisor, with a grasp of office operations and team leadership
- Strong analytical, written and verbal communication with attention to detail
Preferred: several years across different organisations and industries, administrative training or process-improvement involvement, experience with office systems, budgets, vendors or facilities, and familiarity with AI-driven office tools.
What it pays
$85/hr, the board figure. The ad text gives no range.
Worth knowing
Good:
- One of few AfterQuery listings where a degree is not required
- $85/hr is well above the HR ($50) and marketing ($45) listings from the same board
- Remote and asynchronous
Less good:
- The rate looks high for the stated entry bar, so expect real screening on experience; the ad does not describe the process
- Contractor engagement: no benefits, your own tax to manage
- Hours, project length and payment terms are not published on the listing; the company page describes how AfterQuery pays in general
AfterQuery's help centre describes an unpaid, one-attempt assessment and ID verification for expert pools; this listing does not describe its own hiring steps.
