What you'll do

You author ALS scenarios from dispatch through transfer of care, write reference answers with the clinical reasoning behind each intervention, and grade model output for protocol accuracy and patient safety. The check AfterQuery stresses is flagging treatment plans that read right but would code the patient, so your field instincts are the point.

Who fits

• NRP certification with an active state paramedic license
• 2+ years of ALS field experience on a 911 service
• Depth in cardiology, airway management and pharmacology
• Clear written English for documenting clinical decisions under pressure
• Able to commit at least 10 hours a week

Preferred: critical care or flight credentials (FP-C, CCP-C); FTO, field supervisor or EMS education experience; high acuity urban or tactical EMS background. The form optionally asks for an EMT or paramedic credential.

What it pays

The board headlines $68/hr; the ad's contract section gives $55 to $80/hr, set from experience and paid weekly via Stripe, not negotiated down after you start.

Worth knowing

Good:

• Remote and fully async, with no shifts and no holdovers
• Ongoing project work with hours you set each week
• No screen recording, keystroke monitoring or idle timers

Less good:

• Minimum 10 hours a week
• Active licensure and 2+ years of 911 ALS experience are required
• A written assessment may be part of placement
• Independent contractor: no benefits, your own taxes
