What you'll do

You build rehab cases that follow a patient from evaluation through progression and discharge, and write reference answers that explain the clinical reasoning behind each progression decision. You then grade model output for safety, contraindications and evidence-based practice. The most useful skill here is spotting exercise advice that reads well but would hurt a real patient.

Who fits

• DPT or equivalent PT degree with an active, unencumbered US PT licence
• 2+ years of clinical practice
• Depth in orthopaedic, neurologic or acute care rehabilitation
• Clear written English for documenting clinical reasoning
• Able to commit at least 10 hours a week

Preferred: board specialty certification (OCS, NCS, SCS), sports, vestibular or pelvic health specialisation, and residency, fellowship or clinical instruction experience. The application form asks for a PT/OT licence, marked optional. The ad requires a US licence; it does not name a residence requirement.

What it pays

The board headlines $88/hr, while the ad text gives a range of $70 to $105/hr, set from your experience and paid weekly via Stripe. AfterQuery says it does not negotiate the rate down after you start.

Worth knowing

Good:

• Work stays inside your clinical specialty
• Remote and fully async, no fixed hours and no weekly maximum
• No screen recording, keystroke monitoring or idle timers, according to the ad
• Ongoing project work rather than single task batches

Less good:

• A 10 hours a week minimum
• Needs a US licence, so clinicians licensed elsewhere do not qualify
• An unpaid written assessment may be part of placement, and AfterQuery's help centre says it cannot be retaken
• Contractor status: no benefits, your own tax to manage
