  • visual hierarchy

What you'll do

You create presentation-design problems that test whether an AI can reason about slides like a professional. The ad lists slide layouts, visual hierarchy, colour theory, typography, data charts, animation timing and template design. Good cases hinge on judgment, such as what to cut from a crowded slide or how to show a trend honestly.

You also validate model responses with detailed feedback on accuracy and visual communication standards, and work with design and technical experts to tune difficulty.

Who fits

  • Proven experience building professional PowerPoint presentations, with a solid grasp of visual design and communication
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, including advanced features, animations and design tools
  • Strong analytical, written and verbal communication; the feedback is written, so words matter as well as layouts

No degree is listed. Preferred: several years across presentation types (corporate, sales, marketing, executive briefings), brand guideline or design-training work, data visualisation and infographic skill, and knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Keynote or Google Slides.

What it pays

$50/hr, the board figure. The ad text gives no range.

Worth knowing

Good:

  • No degree requirement; a strong portfolio of real decks is the qualification
  • Remote and asynchronous
  • A rare AI-training role built around a specific tool skill

Less good:

  • The work is judged in text, so expect to explain visual decisions in writing
  • Contractor engagement: no benefits, your own tax to manage
  • Hours, project length and payment terms are not published on the listing; the company page describes how AfterQuery pays in general

AfterQuery's help centre describes an unpaid, one-attempt assessment and ID verification for expert pools; this listing does not describe its own hiring steps.
