What you'll do
You write and grade the communication and swallowing scenarios that AI labs use to test clinical judgment. The ad lists: authoring realistic SLP scenarios across evaluation, diagnosis and treatment planning; writing reference answers with the clinical reasoning behind each decision; grading model output for diagnostic accuracy, safety and evidence based practice; and flagging recommendations that read well but would fail a real client or patient.
Swallowing advice in particular can look reasonable and still be unsafe, which is where an experienced clinician earns the rate.
Who fits
- ASHA CCC-SLP with an active, unencumbered state license
- 2+ years of clinical practice after your clinical fellowship
- Depth in pediatric or adult populations: speech, language or dysphagia
- Clear written English for documenting clinical reasoning
- Able to commit at least 10 hours a week
Preferred: instrumental dysphagia skills (MBSS or FEES) or AAC depth; medical SLP or school based caseload experience; clinical fellowship mentoring or graduate supervision. The application form has an optional field for your CCC-SLP credential.
What it pays
The ad's contract section states $70 to $105/hr, paid weekly via Stripe, with the rate set from experience and not negotiated down after you start. It is independent contractor work: remote and fully async, no fixed hours, a 10 hour weekly minimum with no maximum, and no screen recording, keystroke monitoring or idle timers. The ad describes ongoing project work rather than single task batches.
How hiring works
Per the ad: a roughly five minute application (resume plus structured questions), a resume review against a published rubric, a possible written assessment for further placement, onboarding (contractor agreement, Stripe, platform access), then a project match, usually within a week of onboarding.
Worth knowing
Good:
- A published range and weekly pay with no monitoring software
- No caseload and no billing minutes, as the ad puts it
- Both pediatric and adult specialists are welcome
Less good:
- Needs a CCC-SLP plus 2+ years post fellowship
- A 10 hour weekly minimum applies
- Project matching is not guaranteed, and the company page notes contractor complaints about gaps between projects
