What you'll do
The only Windows title in Mercor's Office trio (Excel and Word are the macOS listings), this ad is for people who build presentations for a living: consultants, analysts, marketers, and corporate and sales professionals. The focus is presentation design, slide masters and animation, which is to say the parts of PowerPoint that separate a deck builder from someone who fills in a template.
The work is not described. The ad requires PowerPoint on your own Windows PC, ready to open today, and a display that can capture high-resolution screenshots. Like its sibling listings, this looks designed to capture real application workflows, likely to train AI agents that operate office software, but that is our inference; the ad itself names no task or client.
If you routinely build master layouts, align and distribute objects, manage theme colours and sequence animations without hunting through menus, you are the target.
Who fits
- PowerPoint installed on your own Windows PC; no licence, VM or hardware from Mercor
- Real-world deck-building experience, including slide masters and animation
- Screenshots above 2.5 megapixels from a single high-resolution monitor (for example 2560×1440, 2560×1600 or 3440×1440) or two 1080p-plus monitors spanned into one capture. A single 1080p laptop screen does not qualify
No degree, years or country requirement is stated.
What it pays
$60–70 per hour, the top band in the family, level with Excel and Word on macOS and the three operating-system listings. For consultants between engagements, that is a reasonable fill-in rate for a skill already honed.
Payments are weekly on Stripe or Wise, based on services rendered.
Worth knowing
Good:
- Top-tier rate for a common professional skill
- Windows plus a Microsoft 365 subscription is the most widely held setup in this whole family
- Remote and self-scheduled, weekly pay published
Less good:
- Common setup means a large applicant pool; expect screening to test depth
- No hires were shown on the listing when we read it
- No task description, hours or duration; projects can be extended, shortened or ended early
- H-1B and STEM OPT candidates excluded; contractor terms
About this listing
A Mercor remote hourly contract, read on 24 September 2026. Pay, platform, screen requirement, payment terms and visa limitation come from the ad. Mercor states no confidential or proprietary information from any employer or client is involved, so client decks stay out of it. See Mercor.
