What you'll do
Georgian is a small language with its own script, and AI models have seen very little clinical writing in it. This role exists to fill that gap from the psychiatric side. You develop and evaluate complex case studies that give models realistic scenarios grounded in how psychiatry is practised in Georgian, and you annotate psychological assessments with the eye of a clinician who has worked in that setting.
Much of the output is written: clear analyses and documentation in both Georgian and English, accurate clinically and culturally. The ad asks for familiarity with both Western and Georgian psychiatric frameworks, so expect to be asked where local practice, clinical language and patient expectations differ from the English-language material the models mostly learned from. There is also a request to help build bilingual communication frameworks for psychiatric information, which points to setting conventions rather than only correcting single answers.
You review sensitive case content with confidentiality and ethics in mind, give feedback on the methods AI systems use to evaluate mental health content, and share insights with the AI project teams.
Who fits
micro1 lists these as preferred qualifications:
- A medical degree (MD, MBBS or equivalent), a completed psychiatry residency and a valid medical licence
- Native Georgian and advanced English, written and spoken
- Extensive experience in psychiatric assessment, treatment planning and case documentation within Georgian clinical settings
- Cultural sensitivity and ethical reasoning on complex mental health scenarios
- A background in developing teaching materials or case studies for education or research
- Interdisciplinary project experience, ideally in technology, research or digital health
- Familiarity with both Western and Georgian psychiatric frameworks
No AI experience is needed. The ad does not say which jurisdiction's licence it expects.
What it pays
$100–200/hour, micro1's published band. Nothing in the ad explains what decides placement within it, or whether the rate is for time or a per-task equivalent.
Worth knowing
Good:
- A strong hourly rate in USD for work that uses clinical judgement directly
- 70 openings against what is likely a small pool of psychiatrists who write clinically in both Georgian and English
- Case-writing and teaching experience is valued, which suits clinicians who train residents or students
- Remote with no country restriction on the listing
Less good:
- The medical degree, residency and licence earn the same $100–200 band as micro1's psychology PhD listings
- A 2x spread with no published basis for placement
- No hours, duration or start date stated
- Difficult psychiatric material can be heavy going over long sessions
- The skills list on the listing card includes "Bilingual in japanese", which matches nothing in the description and looks like a leftover from another posting; the text itself asks only for Georgian and English
- Contractor engagement: no benefits, your own tax to manage
