What you'll do
This is the psychology half of micro1's Lithuanian mental health work. You read psychological case studies and documentation and give feedback grounded in your own practice, and you evaluate AI-generated content for accuracy, ethics and alignment with psychological best practice.
The authoring side asks for culturally sensitive scenarios and materials written in Lithuanian and English for model training. Lithuanian grammar carries a lot of meaning in word endings, and psychological terminology in it is partly borrowed and partly native, so refining an assessment "for fidelity across languages", as the ad puts it, is a judgement call for a bilingual psychologist rather than a lookup.
You also document evaluation processes and findings systematically and work with interdisciplinary teams.
Who fits
micro1 lists these as preferred qualifications:
- A PhD in Psychology, with experience in both clinical and academic settings
- Native or near-native Lithuanian and English, including complex psychological terminology in both
- Strong analytical and critical thinking, with a record of ethical decision-making
- Experience developing or evaluating case studies and psychological assessments
- Strong written and verbal communication, especially carrying nuanced concepts between Lithuanian and English
- Comfort with digital tools for remote collaboration and documentation
- Cultural sensitivity and adaptability in multicultural settings
No AI experience is needed. With the PhD in the title, assume it is required despite the "preferred" label.
What it pays
$100–200/hour, micro1's published band. There is no stated basis for placement within it and no word on whether the rate buys time or is a per-task equivalent.
Worth knowing
Good:
- A doctoral-level USD rate for work that draws directly on clinical and research judgement
- 70 openings for a narrow profile
- Academic and clinical experience both count, so university researchers qualify alongside practitioners
- Remote with no country restriction on the listing
Less good:
- A 2x spread with no published basis for placement
- No hours, duration or start date stated
- Clinical scenarios can be emotionally heavy to work through
- The skills list on the listing card includes "Bilingual in japanese", which matches nothing in the description and looks like a leftover from another posting; the text itself asks only for Lithuanian and English
- Contractor engagement: no benefits, your own tax to manage
