How it works
Respondent is a panel where researchers recruit verified participants. You sign up and are identity-verified, then researchers recruit you through screeners and matching for paid projects such as interviews and focus groups. Its site names customer research, market research and AI training and evaluation as uses, with fraud checks at sign-up, around each study and during researcher review.
This is research participation, not data labelling. We list it as adjacent work: some studies feed AI evaluation, but most do not.
Worth knowing
Good:
- Identity verification and fraud checks are described on the site
- The site cites a participant base across 150+ countries, with dedicated pages for several markets
Less good:
- Respondent publishes no pay figure on its main page; each study sets its own incentive
- Studies depend on matching a screener, so there is no steady task flow
- The page does not describe payout methods or timing
