What is open to you
On 12 October 2026 this site had 761 listings. None is limited to the Philippines and none excludes it by name. 595 set no country restriction at all, and those are the ones to read if you are looking for AI training jobs in the Philippines. They come from four platforms: micro1 (363), Mercor (202), Invisible Technologies (27) and Alignerr (3). Browse them from all listings.
An open listing still has to clear the platform's own country policy, and the Philippines passes both of the published ones. Mercor's supported countries page includes the Philippines, and Mercor says it does not engage contractors outside that list. micro1's experts page names 21 countries and regions it cannot hire from; the Philippines is not among them. We found no published country list for Invisible or Alignerr.
What it pays
Every rate on the site is in US dollars and set per listing. The 557 open listings with an hourly rate have a median midpoint of $67.50, but senior work pulls that up: 253 of the 595 open listings are senior roles and only 38 are entry level.
The entry level pays much less. micro1's data annotator role pays $6–8 an hour, a second annotator listing $6–10, and its video annotation roles $8–10. Its evaluation specialist role for recent graduates pays $20–60.
Tagalog pays best when it comes with a professional credential. micro1's Tagalog-speaking psychiatrist role and its Tagalog-speaking psychologist (PhD) role pay $100–200 an hour and have no country restriction. Mercor's multilingual physician roles accept Tagalog too, but they are open only in the US. The Tagalog filter has all five.
What they ask for
Working English comes first. Guidelines, rubrics and written feedback are in English, and 435 of the 595 open listings ask for no other language. Past that, the role sets the bar. Annotation listings want accuracy and patience with a long written spec, and the higher bands want a degree, a licence or years of professional work. Platform checks such as ID and the right to freelance where you live are covered in who can actually do this work.
Getting paid in the Philippines
The payout services these platforms use reach the Philippines. Mercor's payout policy names Stripe as its main method and Wise where Stripe is not available, and it says Stripe holds your first payout for 7 days. Stripe's Global Payouts recipient list includes the Philippines, paid in pesos by wire. Wise lets residents of the Philippines hold a balance. PayPal's payouts table lists the Philippines as able to receive and withdraw in local currency.
Which platform pays through which service is set out in payment platforms and the countries they do not cover, and how per-task pay differs from the advertised hourly rate is in how you actually get paid.
Tax
These listings are contract work, so registering and declaring the income falls to you. The rules for freelance income from a foreign client are set by the Bureau of Internal Revenue. We could not confirm the current requirements from an official BIR page, so check with the BIR or a local tax professional before your first payout.
