What you'll do
You author the project scenarios that AI labs use to test whether a model can plan and deliver like a project manager. That means writing realistic projects from kickoff through delivery and retrospectives, writing reference answers with the planning and prioritization reasoning behind each decision, grading model output for realism, completeness and stakeholder awareness, and flagging plans that look polished but would fail in real delivery.
The last part is the one to read twice. A Gantt chart that ignores a dependency, a risk register with no owners, or a stakeholder plan that skips the person who can actually veto the launch: the work is catching exactly those.
Who fits
- At least 2 years running projects with real scope, budgets and stakeholders
- Experience owning full project lifecycles from kickoff through delivery
- Depth in planning, risk management and stakeholder communication
- Clear written English for documenting project decisions and trade-offs
- Able to commit at least 10 hours per week
Preferred, not required: PMP, PRINCE2 or an equivalent certification, experience across both agile and waterfall delivery, and program or portfolio management experience.
What it pays
The board headlines $103/hr. The ad's contract section states $80 to $125/hr, paid weekly via Stripe, with the rate set from your experience and, per the ad, not negotiated down after you start.
How the process works
Per the ad: a five-minute application (resume plus a few structured questions), resume review against a published rubric with a decision on every application, a possible written assessment, onboarding (contractor agreement, Stripe, platform access), and a project match usually within a week of onboarding.
Worth knowing
Good:
- Fully remote and fully async, no fixed hours
- No maximum hours; scale up or down week to week
- The ad states no screen recording, keystroke monitoring or idle timers
- Ongoing project work rather than single task batches
Less good:
- At least 10 hours per week is required
- A written assessment may be requested, and applying does not guarantee a project match
- Independent contractor: no benefits, you handle your own taxes
