What you'll do

You write clinical vignettes, including risk assessment and ethical dilemmas, along with reference responses that show the reasoning and safety framing behind each call. You then grade model output for clinical accuracy, ethics and risk handling. The ad singles out one skill: catching responses that are warm, fluent and wrong about risk, and saying precisely why.

This is the ongoing pool role. If you want the shorter project, AfterQuery also lists a clinical review version for psychologists at a flat $90/hr.

Who fits

• PhD or PsyD in psychology with an active, unencumbered US licence
• 2+ years of clinical or research practice after licensure
• Depth in assessment, psychotherapy (CBT, DBT) or psychological testing
• Experience with risk assessment and safety planning
• Able to commit at least 10 hours a week

Preferred: ABPP board certification or an academic appointment, crisis intervention or suicide prevention protocol experience, and peer-reviewed publications or clinical supervision. The form asks for a psychologist licence, marked optional.

What it pays

The board headlines $123/hr, while the ad text states a wide range of $90 to $155/hr, set from your experience and paid weekly via Stripe. AfterQuery says it does not negotiate the rate down after you start.

Worth knowing

Good:

• High ceiling, among the top bands in the medical group
• Remote and async with no fixed hours or weekly maximum
• No screen recording, keystroke monitoring or idle timers
• Ongoing project work rather than single task batches

Less good:

• A 10 hours a week minimum
• Needs a US licence and a doctorate
• Cases may involve self-harm and risk material, which some clinicians will find heavy
• An unpaid, single-attempt written assessment may be part of placement
• Contractor status: no benefits, your own tax to manage
