What you'll do
You write the transaction scenarios that AI labs use to test whether a model can handle real estate work, from listing and offers through inspection, financing and closing. You write reference answers with the contractual and market reasoning behind each decision, grade model output for accuracy and for compliance with agency and disclosure rules, and flag advice that sounds plausible but would breach agency or disclosure obligations.
That last task is where a licence earns its keep. Confident but wrong advice about who owes a disclosure, or what an agent may say to an unrepresented buyer, is exactly what a broker spots on sight and a general reviewer does not.
Who fits
- An active real estate broker licence in at least one US state
- At least 2 years of residential or commercial transaction experience
- Depth in contracts, disclosures, agency obligations and negotiation
- Clear written English for documenting transaction reasoning
- Able to commit at least 10 hours per week
Preferred, not required: managing broker or brokerage ownership experience, both residential and commercial experience, and licences or practice in more than one state. The application form asks for a real estate licence (agent or broker); the form marks it optional.
What it pays
The board headlines $100/hr. The ad's contract section states $80 to $120/hr, paid weekly via Stripe, set from your experience and, per the ad, not negotiated down after you start.
How the process works
Per the ad: a five-minute application (resume plus a few structured questions), resume review against a published rubric with a decision on every application, a possible written assessment, onboarding (contractor agreement, Stripe, platform access), and a project match usually within a week of onboarding.
Worth knowing
Good:
- Fully remote and async, with no fixed hours
- No maximum hours, so you can scale with your deal flow
- The ad states no screen recording, keystroke monitoring or idle timers
- Ongoing project work rather than single task batches
Less good:
- The ad requires an active US state broker licence, so it is closed to anyone without one
- At least 10 hours per week is expected
- A written assessment may be requested, and applying does not guarantee a match
- Independent contractor: no benefits, you handle your own taxes
