What you'll do

This is reasoning work, not translation. You take analytical questions that a model tends to get wrong (comparing sales growth across locations, or a delivery-order logic puzzle) and write the correct answer with an explanation the model can learn from. You also read long content, split it into smaller logical blocks, check its claims against online sources, and build new scenarios that expose weak spots in the model.

French is a mandatory working language alongside English. The ad does not spell out how much of the work is in French, so ask during screening which tasks are French-language and which are English.

Who fits

  • Working fluency in English and French (mandatory)
  • Good research and analytical skills, plus the creative or lateral thinking to invent tricky test cases
  • The ability to give constructive feedback and detailed annotations
  • Self-direction in a remote setting, a desktop or laptop and a good connection
  • Able to commit to 40 hours a week for the contract's length, overlapping US hours

Preferred, not required: a bachelor's degree in engineering, literature, journalism, communications, arts, statistics or similar (people without one but with experience are welcome), professional writing experience, comfort with Excel and Google Suite, and basic data interpretation and arithmetic. The ad says no specialised domain background is needed.

What it pays

The ad does not publish a rate; it promises compensation based on experience and expertise. Turing sets rates per project, so see Turing for what is known about pay.

Worth knowing

Good:

  • No specialist domain knowledge required
  • Flexible hours and fully remote
  • Possible extension based on performance and project needs

Less good:

  • A 40-hour weekly commitment is heavy for a contract with no stated length
  • Two to five hours a day must overlap UTC-8 (America/Los_Angeles), which is awkward from Europe or Africa
  • Contractor assignment with no medical or paid leave
  • No rate published

About this listing

Read on Turing's job board on 18 October 2026; the role has been open since December 2025. It is one of several language versions of the same analyst template, and the 40-hour full-time ask is what distinguishes this posting in the title. The ad names no assessment, so expect the skill tests Turing describes on its company page. See Turing.
