What you'll do

Political questions punish a model's weak spots: stale office-holders, blurred institutions, confident but wrong comparisons between systems. As the Politics expert you write advanced prompts on political science, governance, elections, public policy and international relations, then evaluate responses for accuracy, reasoning, completeness and nuance.

You identify factual inconsistencies and outdated information, give evidence-based feedback with reliable references, help build benchmark datasets and adversarial cases, keep documentation tidy and work with AI researchers. The ad frames it as being objective across a wide range of political and public policy topics, so the skill is checking claims, not taking sides.

Who qualifies

  • Master's degree or higher in any field; Political Science, Public Policy, International Relations, Government, Public Administration, Law, Economics or Journalism preferred
  • Strong knowledge of political systems, institutions, comparative politics and current global developments
  • 3+ years' experience, preferably in public policy, government, political research or consulting, academia, journalism, international affairs or think tanks
  • Excellent written English, research and analytical skills

Preferred: LLM or AI evaluation background, publications, teaching, and independent working.

What it pays

The ad does not publish a rate. Turing sets rates per project, see Turing.

  • Defined 8-week scope

Less good:

  • Contractor assignment with no medical or paid leave
  • Current events move fast, so expect to keep checking sources
  • Assessment comes first
