How it works

Dip Audio's site describes three steps. You apply, which takes about 15 minutes and includes a short voice sample that a person reviews. After approval you see projects that fit your languages, accent and availability. You then record on your own schedule, with no quotas or fixed hours.

Openings listed on the site cover English (US), Spanish (Mexico), Hindi, Mandarin (Simplified), Egyptian Arabic and French (France).

Worth knowing

Good:

  • Dip states there is no minimum payout and no platform fee
  • Work has no quotas or fixed hours, per the site

Less good:

  • Dip does not publish a pay rate, so the pay fields are empty
  • Eligible countries are not listed; the site points eligibility questions to its support email
  • Approval depends on a reviewed voice sample and on a project matching your language and accent, so being accepted does not guarantee work
  • We found no independent worker reviews, so day-to-day experience is unverified

Another platform with audio and language work is LXT.
