How it works
mpathic is an AI safety company focused on psychosocial risks such as suicide risk, eating disorders and misinformation. Its site says a network of more than 7,000 licensed clinicians writes the policy, taxonomy, rubric and conversation scripts, and sets the gold standard, so that clinical judgment trains the data that teaches models what harm looks like.
Clinicians can apply through the "Apply To Be An Expert" link on its experts page. The public site does not list specific job titles, tasks or the steps after you apply.
Worth knowing
Good:
- Work draws directly on clinical expertise, aimed at safety evaluation rather than generic labeling
- A single expert application, with no referral needed
Less good:
- This is a clinician-only network: the site describes licensed clinicians, so non-clinicians should not expect work
- mpathic does not publish pay, payment methods, a payout schedule or eligible countries
- Task types and volume are not described, so the amount of available work is unclear
About this page
Facts above come from mpathic's public site at mpathic.ai, last checked 23 October 2026. Compensation, payment, country eligibility and the application steps after submission could not be verified, so those grid fields are empty. The site mentions annotation as part of its platform but does not list data labeling as a named role. For comparable expert-based work, see Mindrift and Ethos.
