How it works

Sign up for free on Twine and complete the AI collector application. You are matched to projects based on demographics such as gender, ethnicity and location. After approval you receive an introductory email with a link to the AI Projects Slack group. Participation is voluntary, so you choose when to work.

Typical collection work is photographing faces or common items, filming basic activities, or recording conversations and short sentences in different languages. A single task may take about ten minutes; longer projects can run for months.

Worth knowing

Good:

• Twine says pay depends on the complexity and length of a project, with projects ranging from $1 to over $1,000
