What you'll do
AfterQuery is collecting short voice samples of English as Czech speakers really speak it. You get a script and a walkthrough, record yourself reading it, and send it in through the platform the ad names. The time estimate is 15 minutes or less.
Who fits
- A Czech-influenced English accent that comes naturally; the ad says faked or imitated ones are not paid and get removed
- A device with a microphone, phone or computer
- Independent comfort with simple written English instructions
- Helpful but optional: previous recording, narration or audio contribution experience
- All genders welcome
What it pays
The board headline is $30/hour, but the ad itself says $50 flat per submission. Because the task is one short recording, the flat $50 is the sensible figure to budget for. The ad does not mention repeat submissions.
Worth knowing
Good:
- Little setup and a clear guide
- Previous audio work is welcome, not demanded
Less good:
- Fewer than a handful of places: 3 to 5 speakers for the Czech accent
- Unpaid if your accent is not judged authentic
- The ad does not list payment terms; check the company page
