Bilingual Audio Contributor (Russian/English)

What you'll do

Russian is spoken well beyond Russia, and AfterQuery is after speakers whose English carries a Russian accent, wherever they live (the ad sets no location rule). The job is one recording. Work through the step-by-step guide, read the short script aloud, and submit it on the project platform. Expect about 15 minutes or less.

The accent has to be natural. Imitated or faked accents are removed from the project and not paid.

Who fits

• Your own authentic Russian-influenced English accent
• A smartphone or computer with a microphone
• Independent handling of simple written English instructions
• All genders welcome

Preferred: some past voice recording, narration or audio contribution.

What it pays

The board headline reads $30/hr, while the ad text pays $50 flat per recording submission. The ad does not address repeat submissions.

Worth knowing

Good:

• Short task, no special equipment
• Flat fee independent of your reading speed
• No experience required

Less good:

• Only 3 to 5 Russian-accent speakers will be accepted
• Recordings judged to be put-on accents are unpaid
