What you'll do

You act as the nursing expert behind AI training data. The ad names three kinds of work: evaluating AI-generated clinical content (patient education, triage guidance, clinical documentation) for accuracy and safety; creating expert demonstrations of nursing workflows, triage and patient education drawn from your own practice; and ranking and labelling model responses against nursing best practice.

In practice that is a mix of reading a model's answer with a clinician's skepticism, and writing the answer you would want the model to give. Your judgment about what is safe in a real care setting is what the labs are buying.

Who fits

  • An active RN license in good standing (ADN or BSN)
  • 2+ years of clinical nursing experience in a hospital, clinic or comparable care setting
  • Strong written communication skills

Preferred: a BSN or MSN; a specialty certification such as CCRN, CEN or OCN; ICU, ED or other high-acuity experience. The application form has an optional field for your RN license number and state.

What it pays

The board shows $68/hr and the ad text gives no range, so that is the figure used here. The ad calls the work paid hourly, fully remote and fully async, with you choosing when and how much you work.

This listing does not publish its payment terms: no payment method, weekly cycle, minimum hours or monitoring policy is stated. The company page covers how AfterQuery pays contractors in general.

Hiring process

The ad does not describe its hiring steps. AfterQuery's help centre describes an unpaid, one-attempt assessment and ID verification for expert pools, covered on the company page.

Worth knowing

Good:

  • Open to ADN as well as BSN nurses
  • Fully async, so it can fit around shifts
  • Uses bedside judgment directly, with specialty and high-acuity experience listed as a plus

Less good:

  • Payment terms and weekly hour expectations are not stated in the ad
  • No rate range is given, only the single $68/hr board figure
  • Assessments are unpaid and single-attempt, and project availability is not guaranteed
