What you'll do

Mercor is recruiting senior HR people to write the tests that measure how AI systems handle talent, employee relations and organizational design at large-company scale. The distinctive feature of this listing is its two tracks:

• US track: Title VII, FLSA, ADA and state employment law
• International track: the UK Employment Rights Act and EU labor directives

You can qualify for either or both, which makes this one of the few Mercor HR listings where a UK or European HR leader fits naturally.

Within a track, you build scenarios across recruiting and workforce planning, employee and labor relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, HR compliance and organizational development. Scenarios can involve HRIS platforms (Workday, SAP SuccessFactors), applicant tracking systems and benchmarking tools such as Radford and Mercer. You then produce the reference answer (an HR policy, an investigation report, a compensation analysis or an org design proposal) and write the rubric that tells real HR judgment apart from certification-exam recall.

Who fits

• 5+ years as an HR leader or Chief People Officer at a major company or HR consultancy (the ad names Mercer, Korn Ferry, and in-house VP or CHRO roles at large companies)
• Direct ownership of talent programs, employee relations matters or compensation design
• Fluency in HR tooling and in how employment-law compliance actually works
• A recognized credential (SHRM-SCP, SPHR or an international equivalent) is strongly preferred, and rubric or training authorship is a plus

Say explicitly which track you are applying for and which jurisdictions you have handled matters in. An investigation run under UK unfair-dismissal rules looks very different from one under Title VII, and the ad makes clear the tasks are track-specific.

$70–80 per hour, Mercor's published band, $10 above the sibling Sales and Marketing Expert listing built on the same template. No weekly hours are stated. Payments are weekly on Stripe or Wise.
