What you'll do
Mercor wants senior go-to-market people to build the tests AI systems are graded on, pitched at Fortune 500 scale: seven-figure deals, big buying committees, long procurement cycles and brands with a lot to lose.
The work has three outputs:
- Scenarios: enterprise sales situations with $1M+ ACV deals and multi-stakeholder buying groups, plus marketing tasks across F500 brand strategy, enterprise ABM, demand generation at scale, lifecycle and category positioning, and RevOps problems set in stacks like Salesforce Enterprise, Marketo, 6sense, Gong and Outreach
- Reference outputs: deal strategies, account plans and executive narratives built with methodologies such as MEDDIC, Challenger and Force Management
- Rubrics: criteria that separate genuine enterprise GTM judgment from a model reciting a generic playbook
The rubrics draw most on your experience. Anyone can list MEDDIC's letters; the rubric has to capture judgment such as knowing that a champion without budget access is a red flag at a specific stage.
Who fits
- 5+ years selling, marketing or running RevOps at a Fortune 500 enterprise software vendor (the ad names Salesforce, Oracle, ServiceNow, SAP, Workday, Microsoft, AWS) or inside an F500 brand or marketing organization (P&G, JPMorgan, Unilever, Microsoft, PepsiCo)
- Direct ownership of F500 accounts, brand campaigns or demand programs
- Fluency in enterprise GTM tools and methods, and a working understanding of how F500 budgets, procurement and legal review really run
- Prior rubric, sales-enablement curriculum or training-content writing is a plus
What it pays
$60–70 per hour, Mercor's published band. That is a narrow range, but it is modest for the seniority asked; Mercor's HR Expert listing, built on the same template, pays $70–80. The ad gives no weekly hours. Payments are weekly on Stripe or Wise.
Worth knowing
Good:
- Very active: Mercor showed 82 hires on this listing this month
- Task authoring and rubric design, the more interesting end of evaluation work
- Narrow pay band, so less guesswork about your rate
- Weekly payment on Stripe or Wise; fully remote on your own schedule
Less good:
- $60–70/hour is low for someone with 5+ years at F500 scale
- The F500 bar excludes strong sellers from mid-market or startup backgrounds
- No stated hours or project length
- H-1B and STEM OPT holders are excluded
- Independent contractor: projects can be extended, shortened or ended early
