- evaluation of ai-generated clinical outputs
- knowledge of inpatient workflows
What you'll do
You bring bedside nursing judgment to an AI training dataset. The records are inpatient: nursing notes, progress notes, care plans, orders, lab results and discharge summaries. You annotate and review them for accuracy, clinical soundness and completeness, and you evaluate AI-generated output for clinical accuracy, safety and appropriateness across different inpatient populations and scenarios.
Much of what the model gets wrong in inpatient care shows up in the gaps nurses notice first: an order that does not match the care plan, a discharge summary that drops a line or a drain, a reassessment that never happened. That is the knowledge the ad is buying. You also work with the project team in writing and by voice to resolve unclear documentation, and feed back on guideline edge cases.
The ad wants generalists. A long career in one narrow unit is less of a fit than broad med-surg, step-down or float experience across populations.
Who fits
- Based in the United States and able to practise as a Registered Nurse there
- Recent inpatient bedside RN experience
- Broad clinical exposure, comfortable with documentation across different inpatient populations
- Experience in an academic medical centre or large health system, with complex patients and workflows
- Prior annotation work with positive performance reviews (preferred)
- Clear written and spoken communication
No prior AI experience is required.
What it pays
$60–70/hour, published on the card and in the ad body. That is a narrow band, and above typical US staff RN hourly pay, though without the shift differentials, benefits or guaranteed hours of a staff role. No weekly hours, duration or pay structure is stated. Physicians on micro1's parallel inpatient chart-review projects are paid $70–125, so this sits well below them, which is expected for the role.
Worth knowing
Good:
- One hundred openings, the most of any listing in this set, flagged high demand
- No AI experience needed
- A tight pay band, so less guesswork about where you will land
- Teaching-hospital and large-system experience is explicitly valued
Less good:
- US residence and US RN practice eligibility required
- Recent bedside experience is expected, which may exclude nurses now in leadership, education or outpatient roles
- Prior annotation with positive reviews is preferred, which favours people who have done this work before
- No hours, duration or pay structure published
- Contractor engagement: no benefits, your own tax to manage
