Medical Expert (AI Training Waitlist)

Sovrano AI: pay and who it accepts · Posted Revised

What you'll do

Medicine is where a confident wrong answer does the most harm, and the ad says as much: a model can sound sure about a diagnosis or a dosing decision and be wrong in a way only a clinician notices. Sovrano's medical network collects physicians to find those errors.

The listing is a waitlist. Applying puts you in the network; you then take a short AI interview on your field (about 20 minutes), and Sovrano writes to you if a project fits your background. There is no project behind the listing, and Sovrano will not contact everyone who applies.

Depending on the project you might:

  • write clinical cases in your specialty and language, with the answer an experienced physician would give
  • grade other physicians' cases against a checklist
  • evaluate AI answers on diagnosis, treatment and safety, checking clinical accuracy and fit with current guidelines

Tasks contain no real patient information. All work is reviewed, and approved work is what gets paid.

Who fits

You need a medical degree (MD, MBBS or equivalent); the education field lists a professional degree, master's or PhD. That is a higher bar than Sovrano's science and engineering waitlists, which accept degrees still in progress.

The tagged skills are clinical reasoning, internal medicine, diagnosis, pharmacology, evidence-based medicine, clinical guidelines, medical writing and patient safety. Internal medicine is the only specialty named, though the ad says specialty is set per project and cases are written "in your specialty and language". That wording suggests some projects run in languages other than English; fluent written English is still required either way.

You also need reliable internet, a quiet place to work, and willingness to work without AI help where a project bans it.

What it pays

Up to $150 an hour, the ceiling for the role. Hours, scope, specialty and rate are set per project and sent to you in writing before you start; no floor is published. Payment terms are not published on the listing.

No work is scheduled until a project matches your specialty.

Worth knowing

Good:

  • Specialty is confirmed in writing, with hours and rate, before you start
  • No real patient data in any task
  • You can decline any project offered
  • Remote and part-time across North America, Europe and Turkey

Less good:

  • A waitlist: you may never be contacted
  • The rate is a maximum, not an offer
  • Only approved work is paid
  • No weekly hours are stated

About this listing

Sovrano posted this role on 27 October 2026; we read it from its signed-in job list on 1 November 2026, when it was open. The location is given as regions, with no country list. See Sovrano AI.

How to get hired

  • Screening is the AI interview of about 20 minutes; Sovrano's site describes its assessment as testing domain knowledge and evaluation ability.
  • Put your degree, specialty and clinical experience at the top of the profile, and name the specialty exactly, since projects are matched to it.
  • Before the interview, reread the current guidelines you would cite when marking an AI answer wrong in your specialty; fit with current guidelines is one of the checks the ad lists.
  • Our interview prep section covers AI screening interviews.
