Revit Architects: Paid Drawing & Model Review Project

What you'll do

Terac's client is building a dataset of how experienced architects judge good and bad drawings and Revit models. The ad is explicit that it wants human professional judgment.

You start with a calibration of about two hours: model two small rooms in Revit, then work through two sample tasks. For those you watch a short walkthrough, fix a flawed review checklist and grade the work. If you are approved, ongoing paid tasks follow at $100 per hour.

The ad does not say what the dataset will be used for. It fits expert-review and evaluation data, but check what you are agreeing to before you submit.

Who fits

• Architects, architectural designers or BIM professionals based in the US
• Strong hands-on Revit experience (a free Revit trial is fine, but Revit needs Windows)
• A good eye for drawing quality, code and documentation standards

What it pays

$100 per hour for ongoing tasks once approved. The ad does not say whether the roughly two-hour calibration is paid, so confirm that before starting.

Worth knowing

Good:

• Clear hourly rate for work that uses real architectural judgment
• Remote
• A defined calibration step shows what the work is like before the ongoing tasks

Less good:

• Calibration is about two hours and its pay is not stated
• AI tools may not be used to build the model, write the review or polish answers; submissions showing AI use are disqualified
• Needs Windows and Revit
• US-based only
• Approval is not guaranteed, and the number of ongoing tasks is not stated
