What you'll do

You read and summarise long content, divide it into logical blocks, verify claims by online research, and work with a language model on puzzle questions it fails, writing the correct answer plus an explanation. The ad's samples are a location sales growth comparison and a postman delivery puzzle.

What sets the Russian ad apart in wording: the role overview asks for strong analytical and comprehension skills (not "English comprehension" as the other language ads do), and the requirement is a high degree of comprehension reading and writing both English and Russian. The "multilingual capabilities are mandatory" line sits under preferred qualifications here, but the requirements still name both languages.

Who fits

  • Reading and writing in English and Russian with strong comprehension
  • Good research and analytical skills, constructive feedback, creative thinking
  • Independent remote worker with laptop or desktop and good connection
  • Preferred: degree in engineering, literature, journalism, communications, arts, statistics or similar (or experience), professional writing, Excel and Google Suite, data interpretation

No other domain experience is needed.

What it pays

The ad publishes no rate. Turing sets rates per project (see Turing). The ad mentions competitive compensation based on experience and expertise.

Worth knowing

Good:

  • Contract can run to a maximum of 12 months
  • Remote, flexible hours
  • No domain specialism required
  • Possible extension based on performance and project needs

Less good:

  • 12 months is a ceiling, not a promise
  • 2 to 5 hours a day of overlap with US Pacific time (UTC-8) required
  • Contractor position, no medical or paid leave
  • No assessment steps listed
  • No pay figure
