What you'll do
You act as a research-minded rater for Gemini answers on educational topics. The work is straightforward: look things up, check them, and tell the model where it went wrong.
- Research online sources and verify information
- Analyze complex content and logic problems
- Summarize findings concisely
- Review AI responses and identify or correct errors
- Write explanations and annotations that help improve the model
Who fits
- Students and working professionals are both welcome
- A bachelor's degree (completed or in progress) or experience in research, analysis, writing, editing, translation, journalism, data or similar work
- Comfort working independently and remotely
- An existing Gemini App account with genuine prior use; new accounts are not eligible. The history must include at least 10 separate conversations about learning, education, research, projects, exam prep or skill development
The title says US, but the ad states no residence requirement.
What it pays
$30 per hour, paid in USD. The ad frames the potential as up to $1200 a week, which matches 40 hours at that rate; the required minimum is 20 hours a week.
What the privacy step involves
You submit your Gemini history as an exported JSON file through a Google Form so Turing can validate that your prompts are education-related. The ad says you may remove or redact personal or sensitive information, and that fabricated details should be replaced consistently across the file. Turing says it will delete data of unselected candidates within a reasonable period unless law or fraud and security needs require retention.
Worth knowing
Good:
- A clearly stated $30 hourly rate
- Open to students; the degree requirement is flexible
- Remote with a fast start ("ASAP")
Less good:
- You must have a real Gemini history and hand it over for validation
- 20 hours a week required, with 4 hours of overlap with PST
- A 16-week contract, with no extension terms stated
