What you'll do
Instead of testing a chatbot with abstract trivia, this project asks people who actually run small businesses to use it the way they would at work, then score what comes back. You compare several chatbots side by side on the same task.
- Write realistic business prompts based on defined user goals
- Talk to multiple AI chatbots, with a maximum of 5 turns per conversation
- Rate responses on clarity, usefulness and accuracy
- Give structured feedback and comparative evaluations
- Submit the conversation transcripts and your evaluation results
The tasks cover marketing visuals, day-to-day operations and customer interactions, market research, and data work for analysis and financial planning. You will use spreadsheets, PDFs and images as inputs.
Who fits
- You own a business or understand small business operations well
- You have business-related documents available in English (the ad stresses this)
- Strong analytical and critical thinking
- Able to follow structured evaluation guidelines
- Comfortable using AI tools
No degree, years of experience or location requirement is stated.
What it pays
The ad does not publish a rate. Turing sets rates per project; see Turing.
Commitment
- Project-based, with a defined number of evaluation tasks
- Each task includes a multi-chatbot comparison and a final assessment
- Duration: 16 weeks
- The ad gives no weekly hours
Worth knowing
Good:
- Your own business experience and files are the qualification
- Fully remote and flexible, per the ad
- No coding needed
Less good:
- No pay figure, and no hours, so you cannot work out an effective hourly rate
- Requires English documents you can share with the project, which may be a privacy question for real business files (the ad does not say how they are handled)
- Defined task count means the work ends when the tasks do
How hiring works
The ad does not describe an assessment. Turing's help centre describes skill tests and, for some roles, a live interview; see Turing.
