What you'll do
Your whole assignment is a single reading. AfterQuery sends a short script and a recording guide; you follow it, record, and hand the file in through the designated platform. Roughly 15 minutes, says the ad.
Greek-influenced English is what the project wants, spoken naturally. Anything that sounds staged or imitated is rejected without pay.
Who fits
- English speakers whose accent is genuinely Greek-influenced; all genders welcome
- A phone or computer with a microphone
- Able to work from written instructions without help
- Helpful but optional: earlier voice, narration or audio contribution experience
What it pays
$50 flat per submission is the ad's stated pay. The board lists $30/hr as its headline, which I used for the hourly fields. Think of $50 as the real offer for the one recording.
Worth knowing
Good:
- About as low-commitment as paid work gets
- Single fixed payment
- Nothing technical to learn
Less good:
- 3 to 5 Greek-accent speakers only, so the window may close quickly
- No pay for submissions judged to use a faked accent
- Payment timing and any future projects are not described in the ad
