Skills
  • voice recording
  • accent authenticity
  • following instructions
  • english

What you'll do

The brief is one recording. You are given a short script and a guide that walks you through making the recording, you read it in your ordinary Korean-influenced English, and you submit the file via the platform AfterQuery names. The ad estimates 15 minutes or less, which makes this closer to a micro-task than a job.

Who fits

  • Your own natural English accent, shaped by Korean, not a copy of one
  • A smartphone or computer with a microphone
  • Comfortable following simple written instructions in English by yourself

No preferred qualifications appear in this ad. You do not need a voice or audio background.

What it pays

A flat $50 for the single submission. The board shows $30/hr as a label, but the ad text defines the pay as per submission. Submissions with a faked accent are not compensated.

Worth knowing

Good:

  • Clear, fixed fee for under a quarter of an hour of work
  • Open to all genders
  • No experience screening described in the ad

Less good:

  • Just 3 to 5 Korean-accent speakers are accepted, so late applicants may find it full
  • Not a recurring project
  • The ad does not describe how recordings are checked or when payment lands. The company page covers AfterQuery's general payout and verification practices
