What you'll do

The Latvian slot is one of the narrowest in this family: AfterQuery says it wants only a handful of speakers for this accent, not a large crowd. You follow a step-by-step guide, read a provided short script aloud in your own Latvian-influenced English, and submit the recording. The ad says about 15 minutes or less.

Who fits

• A natural, authentic Latvian-influenced English accent
• A smartphone or computer with a microphone
• Independent reading and following of simple written instructions in English
• Any gender

Preferred: some previous voice recording, narration or audio contribution. The ad lists it as a plus, not a requirement.

What it pays

$50 flat for one recording submission. The board's $30/hr is a label only. An imitated or faked accent is unpaid and removed from the project.

Worth knowing

Good:

• Little time, fixed fee
• Prior audio work gives you an edge but is not demanded

Less good:

• Only 3 to 5 Latvian-accent speakers are accepted
• One-off, no stated follow-up work
