What you'll do
Despite the "Audio Contributor" title, this listing is not a recording job. It is expert review for an AI research tool that answers complex questions with structured tables. You read the research question, go through each table entry, click through the primary sources it links to, and judge whether the entry is accurate, relevant and complete. You also search the web yourself for entries the AI overlooked.
Before live tasks begin you complete a short qualification assessment. The work is asynchronous and self-paced, and the ad expects 10 to 20 hours a week over the next several weeks, with each review task taking about 1.5 to 2 hours.
Who fits
- Fluent Mandarin Chinese, spoken and written (Simplified or Traditional both fine)
- Attention to detail and the ability to work without supervision
- Comfort doing independent web research and judging online sources
Preferred: basic familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini, and some data annotation, content review or quality assurance experience. The ad says no specialised degree is needed.
What it pays
The board headlines $30/hr. The ad's own text says $50/hour for project-based review work, so there is a gap between the two figures; the listing does not explain it. Treat $30 as the floor the board shows and $50 as what the description claims, and ask which applies before committing hours.
Worth knowing
Good:
- Self-paced and flexible, with no fixed shifts
- No degree required
- Bilingual ad (English and Chinese), so the project clearly expects Mandarin-first applicants
Less good:
- Two different pay figures in one listing
- Each task is long (1.5 to 2 hours), so slow source checking directly affects your effective rate
- A qualification assessment comes first; the ad does not publish payment terms, and the company page describes AfterQuery's usual unpaid one-attempt assessment

Read from the AfterQuery Experts board on 18 October 2026, posted 22 May 2026. The ad lists one responsibility twice; we have counted it once. Commentary is ours. See AfterQuery.
