What you'll do

A task here is a professional work assignment with reference files, gold deliverables and a scoring rubric. You open the files, judge the task against 10 ordered Pass/Fail questions, and write a short comment on each. You judge the task; you do not fix it. The ad says about 2 hours per task, as an estimate and not a cap. It does not name the occupations covered or the client.

Who fits

The ad states no requirements at all: no experience, degree, language or location. In practice, careful reading and consistent application of a rubric are the job. Check the qualification step after you join for any domain expectations (our note, not the listing's).

What it pays

A single fee of $40.00 an hour. At about 2 hours a task, that suggests roughly $80 a task if the estimate holds (our arithmetic, not the listing's, and the ad says the 2 hours is not a cap). Payment is weekly via Stripe or Wise, and nothing guarantees a minimum amount of work.

What joining involves

Two steps: upload your resume (about 5 minutes) and "unlock paid projects" (about 30 minutes, an unpaid qualification). Independent contractor, fully remote, own schedule, free to accept or reject projects, and projects can be extended, shortened or ended early. Invisible cannot support H-1B or STEM OPT contractors.

Worth knowing

Good:

• $40 an hour is well above Meridial's common $17 rate
• Clearly bounded work: 10 questions per task, review only, no rewriting
• Remote and flexible

Less good:

• Occupations, volume and client are not published
• Unpaid qualification step, and no guarantee of projects
• No H-1B or STEM OPT contractors
• Contractor engagement: no benefits, your own tax to manage
