What you'll do
This is micro1's Spanish-language version of its US at-home recording job, and the ad itself is written in Spanish, which suggests the project is run in Spanish. You wear your smartphone on a head strap and record first-person video while doing specified physical activities, with both hands visible in frame.
What sets it apart from the English US listing is the sensor side. The ad describes capturing movement data from your phone's IMU sensors (the accelerometer and gyroscope) alongside synchronised video, following technical protocols for quality, labelling and standardisation. That makes the output motion-capture data for robotics as much as it is video.
Onboarding includes a device compatibility check and an AI-run interview, then identity verification within 48 hours of being contacted before any contract is issued.
Who can apply
- Residence in one of the 39 US states the ad lists. It matches the English US listing's list minus New York, so Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Maine, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, Washington and DC are all left out
- An iPhone 12 or later, Google Pixel 6 or later, or Samsung Galaxy S21 or later
- A head strap able to capture both hands, in hand within 48 hours of your start date
- The physical capacity for repetitive movement tasks, and reliable delivery against deadlines
Background in robotics, kinesiology, sensor data collection, human motion analysis or ML dataset labelling is a plus. The ad also says applying with a Gmail address counts in your favour because it eases integration with the project's tools.
What it pays
The listing card shows $10–15/hour, but the ad's own compensation section says pay is per video that meets the project specification, with a minimum of 10 to 15 hours of video per week. So the hourly figure is best read as what accepted footage works out to, not a rate for your time.
Unlike the English US listing, this one mentions no $20 head strap reimbursement; the strap specification is shared at onboarding.
Worth knowing
Good:
- A rare paid data-collection project run in Spanish for US residents
- No experience required
- 1,000 openings, high demand
- Clear weekly volume expectation
Less good:
- 10–15 hours of accepted video a week is a real commitment, more than the English listing states
- Per-video pay: rejected clips earn nothing
- Twelve jurisdictions, including New York and California, are excluded
- No head strap reimbursement is mentioned
- You are filming your own home
- Contractor engagement: no benefits, your own tax to manage
