Mexican ChatGPT User

What you'll do

Mercor is recruiting heavy ChatGPT users in Mexico on behalf of an AI research organization it does not name. The organization wants real conversation histories for model research and evaluation.

Two phases:

• Phase one, a one-time deliverable: sign a consent form authorizing access to your personal ChatGPT history, share or link it as instructed, give the email tied to that ChatGPT account, and self-verify eligibility using the steps provided.
• Phase two, ongoing project work on the same program, which people who finish phase one may be invited to. The ad does not say what that work is, and explicitly separates it from the data sharing.

The application includes a required ChatGPT Power User Interest Form. Without it the application is not reviewed.

Who qualifies

You need all of the following:

• Based in Mexico, having lived and studied there for at least 3–5 years
• Native Spanish speaker, with ChatGPT conversations mainly in Spanish
• 40+ conversations in the last nine months
• At least one saved memory on the account
• A personal account more than 3 months old

Work, employer and enterprise accounts are out, along with any account holding proprietary or confidential material. The research organization verifies eligibility after consent; allow up to two weeks.

Note that this is specifically Mexico. Spanish speakers elsewhere in Latin America or in Spain do not qualify under this ad.

What it pays

$50 per hour as published by Mercor, paid weekly on Stripe or Wise. Phase one is deliverable-based, and the ad never says what that single step pays in practice, so confirm it before consenting.

Think before you share

Everything you have asked ChatGPT is in that history: health, money, relationships, work. Go through it before you link it. If you ever pasted employer documents into your personal account, that falls under the confidential material the program rules out.

Worth knowing

Good:

• No CV screen or test; qualifying is about how you already use ChatGPT
• A possible path to ongoing paid work in phase two

Less good:

• You share private conversations, and the ad gives no retention or deletion terms
• The research organization is not named
• The payout for the phase one step is not stated as an amount
• Up to two weeks of verification
• H-1B and STEM OPT holders excluded; contractor terms, and projects can end early
