  • shareholder and llc disputes
  • rubric writing

What you'll do

The format is micro1's multi-turn litigation simulation, applied to business divorce. Each turn you produce authentic litigation work product (motions, briefs, demand letters, discovery) for a commercial dispute among shareholders or LLC members, submit it under senior direction, and absorb the feedback in the next draft.

With each submission you draft rubric items that set out what a strong response to opposing counsel must contain. Across the scenario you keep the argument and strategy consistent as the case theory evolves, flag ambiguities, procedural gaps or missing facts for the project leads, and adapt as document types and requirements shift. All fact patterns are public or synthetic.

Who fits

  • A licensed US attorney (active or lapsed), authorised in at least one US jurisdiction
  • At least three years of post-JD litigation with substantive shareholder and LLC work: fiduciary duty claims, oppression, buyouts, operating and membership agreement issues, governance disputes
  • Strong drafting across discovery, motion practice and case strategy
  • Work product good enough for partner-level review when produced under direction
  • Excellent written English and precise argument

Litigation-focused firm experience (BigLaw, boutique or mid-market) is preferred; federal court practice and prior AI training or evaluation work are pluses.

One detail differs from the sibling listings. The commercial contract and commercial real estate versions say "Remote, US-based". This one says only "Remote", so no residence requirement is stated, even though the licence must be a US one. Ask before assuming a non-US address is fine.

What it pays

$100/hour, a single published figure shared with the two siblings. Nothing on the listing says whether that is per hour or per task, or how a turn is counted. This version also omits the 48-hour fill and start timeline that the siblings publish.

Worth knowing

Good:

  • A flat, published $100 rate
  • Closely held business disputes are a real specialism, and the listing describes it in useful detail
  • A lapsed licence qualifies
  • No residence requirement is stated on this variant
  • Public or synthetic fact patterns only

Less good:

  • One opening
  • The substantive bar is narrow: general commercial litigators without shareholder or LLC matters are not the target
  • Multi-turn scenarios under senior direction need steady availability, and no weekly hours or project length are given
  • Contractor engagement: no benefits, no notice period, your own tax to manage

About this listing

Posted by micro1 on its own jobs portal about a month before we read it on 24 September 2026. The $100/hour figure, the single opening and the qualifications above are its published text; its location line reads "Remote" with no country. See micro1.
