What you'll do
The project is teaching AI systems to operate Salesforce the way a working admin or sales-ops person does. You carry out realistic tasks inside the CRM: moving leads, contacts, accounts and opportunities through their records, building reports and dashboards, and setting up Flow and other automation for everyday business processes. Then you write down, step by step, exactly how each workflow was done.
The second half is review. You look at workflows (presumably including ones produced by others or by the model) and give feedback on whether they reflect how Salesforce is actually used, and you explore the platform to surface common real-world use cases worth capturing. The ad stresses written and verbal communication, which makes sense: a workflow you performed perfectly is only useful to the project if someone else can follow your write-up.
Who fits
- Solid hands-on Salesforce CRM experience
- Day-to-day handling of leads, contacts, accounts and opportunities
- Familiarity with Flow, automation, reports and dashboards
- Salesforce used for sales, CRM or business operations
- A good grasp of CRM data management
- The ability to explain a workflow clearly and accurately
- Attention to detail and problem-solving
Salesforce certifications are described as a plus but not required, and the ad says no prior AI experience is needed. These are all listed as preferred qualifications, and the ad sets no minimum years.
What it pays
$28–92/hour, micro1's published figure. The same $28–92 band appears on micro1's HubSpot Specialist listing, so this looks like one tool-specialist programme priced consistently across CRMs. The band is wide and the ad does not say what decides placement. No weekly hours, project length or pay structure are published.
This is a different role from micro1's Salesforce / HubSpot Administrator (Revenue Systems) listing at $35–80/hour, which audits a drifted CRM configuration and asks for 4–6 years of admin experience. This one is broader and more open.
Worth knowing
Good:
- Uses the Salesforce skills you already have rather than asking you to learn annotation tooling
- No certification, no minimum years and no AI background required
- 40 openings, remote with no country restriction stated
- The top of the band is strong for CRM operations work
Less good:
- A floor of $28/hour, and a 3x spread with nothing published about placement
- Documenting clicks step by step is slower and more tedious than doing the work
- The ad does not say which Salesforce edition or sandbox you will work in
- No project duration or weekly hours stated
- Contractor engagement: no benefits, your own tax to manage
