What you'll do
Unlike most Turing listings, this is not evaluation work: you are the data. You record scripted Spanish audio for Turing's AI customers, and the deliverable is one hour of clean, finished recording. The ad does not name the end use of the audio beyond the formats it lists (commercials, corporate narration, e-learning, audiobooks, digital media).
- Record voice-overs from a professional home studio or in-studio sessions
- Perform lines with clarity, emotion and suitable pacing
- Interpret scripts and take creative direction
- Revise performances after feedback
- Deliver audio on time, in the right format
Who fits
- At least 3 years of experience as a Spanish voice actor, with a portfolio or samples showing studio-grade work
- Excellent pronunciation, diction and fluency in Spanish, and a strong vocal range across formats
- Good microphone technique and recording practice
- Basic sound editing: noise reduction, levelling, file formatting
- A high-quality microphone and professional recording setup
- Able to follow direction and turn work around quickly
- Preferred: dubbing, ADR or localisation experience, a demo reel with varied styles, an acting background, audio editing tool skills
The ad does not name a Spanish variety or region.
What it pays
- Fixed fee: USD 200 per finished hour. The ad defines "finished" as after editing, mastering and cleanup to the scripts and directions given
- Turing pays a one-time USD 20 for onboarding and set-up, expected to take at most 1 hour
Because the fee covers finished audio, recording, editing and retakes all come out of the same fee. Time per finished hour is the number that decides your real hourly rate.
Worth knowing
Good:
- A published, fixed rate, which is rare at Turing
- Flexible, with no fixed schedule
- Uses skills you already have
Less good:
- You supply your own studio, microphone and editing time
- The ad asks for one hour of audio; it does not say whether more work follows
- The ad says this is a flexible agreement, not full-time or part-time employment, so there are no benefits
- Strict quality bar, with revisions on feedback
- Your voice is the product and the ad does not describe usage rights, so read the contract carefully before signing
How hiring works
Shortlisting by qualifications and experience, then a short 30 second demo recording from selected candidates.
