What you'll do

This is Mercor's listing for timeline editors: video editors, content producers and post-production professionals who assemble sequences in Adobe Premiere (Premiere Pro) on Windows.

It follows the "Application Users" template: equipment first, work unspecified. Premiere must be installed on your own Windows PC and open today, and your screen must support high-resolution captures. No task list, client or hours are published. The likeliest purpose, based on the format, is capturing real editing sessions (bins, sequences, trimming, audio and effect controls, export settings) to train AI agents that operate creative software. That is our inference, not the ad's.

Premiere's interface is panel-heavy and small-text, which is presumably why the resolution rule exists. Editors who already run a large monitor or a dual-screen layout are well placed.

Who fits

  • Premiere installed on your own Windows PC; Mercor supplies no licence, VM or hardware
  • Real-world timeline editing experience
  • Screenshots above 2.5 megapixels: one high-resolution monitor (1440p-class at 16:9 or better, 1600p at 16:10, ultrawides) or two 1080p-plus monitors spanned into a single image

No degree, reel, years or country requirement is stated.

What it pays

$30–40 per hour, the Generalist rate. Mac editors should note the DaVinci Resolve listing (macOS) pays the same, so choose by the tool you know best rather than by pay.

Payments are weekly on Stripe or Wise, based on services rendered.

Worth knowing

Good:

  • Many editors already run dual 1080p monitors, which meets the display rule
  • 6 hires shown this month when we checked
  • Remote and self-scheduled, weekly pay published

Less good:

  • Lowest pay tier in the family, and the Adobe subscription is yours to fund
  • Premiere editors are a large pool, so expect competition
  • Tasks, hours and duration are not described; projects can be extended, shortened or ended early
  • H-1B and STEM OPT candidates excluded; contractor terms
