Marketing Specialist (Microsoft Office User)

micro1: pay and who it accepts · Posted

What you'll do

You design realistic, multi-step marketing prompts that follow real industry workflows: campaign planning, audience segmentation, content calendars and performance reporting. You write, review and refine marketing content used to train and evaluate AI, and help build and score analytics evaluations that test how well a model can judge campaign effectiveness.

Microsoft 365 is the working surface. You use its tools, including Copilot, to produce marketing deliverables and documentation, and you turn marketing data into recommendations that serve both the campaign and the model.

What you need

The ad lists all of this as preferred rather than strictly required, so treat it as the profile micro1 screens for.

  • Professional marketing experience, for example content, digital, campaign or marketing analytics
  • Advanced Microsoft 365 skills across Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Copilot
  • Excellent written and spoken English, able to explain marketing ideas to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Attention to detail and clear, consistent feedback

Nice to have

  • Experience with AI training, data annotation or evaluating AI-generated content
  • Marketing analytics, reporting or campaign measurement experience

What it pays

micro1 states $25–40/hour. The ad does not say whether that is hourly or per task, or how many hours a week to expect. It is the same band as micro1's legal listing posted alongside it, and low next to its senior finance and consulting roles, which fits a scope that asks for solid experience rather than a specialist track record.

Worth knowing

Good:

  • 30 openings
  • Content, digital, campaign and analytics backgrounds all fit
  • Familiar tools rather than a bespoke platform
  • Fully remote, with no country restriction stated

Less good:

  • A modest ceiling at $40/hour
  • No hours, duration or pay mechanism published
  • Contractor engagement: no benefits
  • Most criteria are phrased as preferred, so screening strictness is unclear
  • The customer is not named
