What you'll do
The project is teaching AI systems how revenue operations actually runs inside a growing SaaS company, and it wants people who have owned the plumbing. The work centres on the decisions an ops lead makes every week: how to configure Salesforce, HubSpot or a similar CRM for a changing sales and customer success process, how that CRM connects to quoting, billing, ticketing and project tracking tools, and what to do when the numbers disagree across systems.
A theme the ad singles out is operational judgment under conflicting policies: two rules that cannot both be followed, and the practical call that keeps the process simple rather than bolting on another exception. You document workflows, explain your reasoning, and feed back on what drives (or kills) adoption among sales and CS teams.
The ad reads partly like a real ops job description, so expect the tasks to be scenario-based: you apply this experience to project material rather than running a live company's stack.
Who fits
- At least four years in sales, revenue or customer success operations at a SaaS company
- Personal responsibility for configuring and maintaining a CRM; the ad says direct platform experience is required
- Working familiarity with at least two connected tools outside the CRM (quoting, billing, ticketing or project tracking)
- Good judgment on policy conflicts, with a bias for simple processes
- Clear written documentation and stakeholder communication
- A record of driving adoption of new workflows among sellers and CS teams
- Cross-system reporting and data integrity experience is highly valued
No AI experience is required.
What it pays
$40–80/hour, micro1's published band. No compensation structure or weekly hours are stated. For comparison, micro1's Sales Development Representative listing pays $30–42 and its Sales Representatives (Wholesale) listing $45–85, so the ops track sits in the middle of micro1's current sales-family roles.
Worth knowing
Good:
- Values admin and systems experience that rarely gets a seat in AI training work
- Ten openings, high-demand flag
- Fully remote, no country restriction stated
Less good:
- CRM ownership is a hard line; users of a CRM who never configured one will not qualify
- The ad does not say how the work is structured, how many hours are expected, or how long it runs
- The customer is not named
- Contractor engagement: no benefits
