Smartwatch User

micro1: pay and who it accepts · Posted

What you'll do

This is a data contribution rather than ongoing work. You log in to your own device account (Oura, WHOOP, Garmin Connect, Samsung Health, Fitbit or Google, or Apple Health), request or download your full data export, check that it covers the required period and data types, and upload the unedited ZIP through a Google Form. You must not alter, delete or filter anything. If an export fails or data is missing, you report it and respond to feedback so the submission can be accepted. The history you share helps train and evaluate AI models.

What you need

  • A supported device: Oura, WHOOP, Garmin, Samsung Galaxy Watch (Samsung Health), Google Fitbit or Pixel Watch, or Apple Watch
  • At least 18 months of continuous data, with no gap longer than 6 weeks
  • Data recorded within the last 6 months
  • Tracking of at least two of sleep, activity and heart rate
  • Login access to your own device account
  • Enough technical comfort to download a file and upload a ZIP through a Google Form
  • The ability to follow instructions carefully and work independently

Nice to have

  • Data from more than one device or account
  • 3 or more years of history
  • Broad coverage across sleep, fitness, activity and heart rate

What it pays

The ad's compensation structure is $70 per device of data submitted, paid after your data is reviewed and meets the project requirements. The card also displays it as $70/hour, but the ad's own wording makes it a per-device payment, so this page shows $70 per submission. A payment method and schedule are not published.

Worth knowing

Good:

  • Almost no effort for the pay if you already have the history; there is no equipment to buy and no skills test described
  • 200 openings
  • The sibling Wearable Electronic User ad says each qualifying device is paid separately, so several devices may mean several payments

Less good:

  • You are handing over a long record of personal health data, so read the privacy and data-use terms closely before uploading
  • Payment only follows a passed review, and rejected exports earn nothing
  • Eligibility depends on history you already have; you cannot qualify by starting to wear a device now
  • The ad does not state a country restriction, a payment schedule or who the customer is

About this listing

Read on micro1's jobs board on 28 October 2026, shown as posted that day. The device list, data requirements and $70 per device are the ad's published text. micro1 also lists a Wearable Electronic User ad that describes the same $70 per device deal. See micro1.
