  • transaction finance
  • financial modeling
  • m&a
  • investment banking
  • output ranking
  • annotation

What you'll do

You act as the expert reviewer for a model's finance output. The study gives you AI-generated documents and data points about transaction finance, and you rank them on factual accuracy, industry relevance and overall quality. You also annotate in detail: mark the errors and the places where the model's reasoning breaks down, rather than just picking a winner.

The goal stated in the ad is to improve how AI handles complex financial data and structures transaction-related information, so your rankings and notes feed the training of financial models. The work is asynchronous on Terac's remote platform, and you complete tasks at your own pace.

Who fits

  • Direct experience in transaction finance, investment banking or corporate development
  • Financial analysts, transaction advisory specialists, M&A professionals and corporate finance managers are all named as welcome
  • A sharp eye for detail
  • A strong grasp of financial modeling and transaction workflows

The ad lists no minimum years and no location requirement; it is open worldwide.

What it pays

The listing shows $100 and calls it a paid study. The ad does not say whether that is per hour, per task or a flat fee for the whole study, and it does not say how long the work takes. Because the unit is missing, we have recorded it as a per-project figure. Check the unit on Terac's opportunities board before you plan around it.

Worth knowing

Good:

  • Work in your own field, so your judgment is the product
  • Asynchronous, at your own pace, with no scheduled calls
  • Open worldwide

Less good:

  • The pay unit and the time needed are not published, so the effective hourly rate is unknown
  • Annotating where a model's logic fails is slow if the documents are long
  • The ad does not say how many reviewers are wanted or when the study closes beyond the listing's expiry date
  • Registering with Terac does not guarantee a match
